Feed My Starving Children

Troop-wide event… All Scouts (especially those who need service hours for rank advancement), Parents, family members (siblings, etc.)

• Only 100 spots are available so register here on the Troop website plus signup via FMSC {{insert Link}}.  Join code is XXXXXX   & an adult will have to create an account with FMSC to add each individual.
  • Any spots not claimed by July 2nd at noon will be released back to FMSC.

• We will need adults to signup as well as there is a ratio that is required to be met so when registering, please be sure to register each individual & include their age.
  • For safety reasons, children under the age of 5 are not allowed in our packing area (sorry, no exceptions)
  • Grades K-2: 1 student to 1 adult*
  • Grades 3-6: 3 students to 1 adult
  • Grades 7-12: 4 students to 1 adult
  • Adult means someone 18 years of age or older

WHEN:         Meet @ FMSC at TBD  to get signed in & gathered together so we can start right at TBD with orientation.

UNIFORM:

• Class B
• Closed-toed shoes recommended; closed-toed shoes required if volunteering in the warehouse.
• There are sit-down jobs (labeling bags) for volunteers who need it.  All other jobs involve standing for a length of time & the warehouse jobs involve heavy lifting.
• The site is handicap accessible.
• Due to FDA compliance for food manufacturing plants, NO jewelry may be worn in the packing room. Please review our Jewelry Policy.
