Camp Geronimo is a traditional Scout Resident Camp, that has been in operation for more than 60 years, that is full of adventure and memory making opportunities. At 5200 feet above sea level and surrounded by one of the world’s largest Ponderosa Pine forests, Geronimo is tucked in at the base of the historic Mogollon Rim north of Payson. Camp Geronimo is a place of fun and tradition that multiple generations of Scouts in hundreds of Arizona Scouting units look forward to each summer.
This year Geronimo is offering 4 different Scouting adventures during camp.
Merit Badge Program: $590 total cost
High Line Trail (Backpacking) Program: $580 total cost (must be 13+ at time of camp)
Spade Ranch High Adventure Program: $650 total cost (must be 14+ at time of camp)
DIY Program: $640 total cost (must be 14+ at time of camp)
Adult Leader Full Week Camp: $295, half week $195.
**Fundraising opportunities are available that can offset 100% of the cost. Be on the look out for the Camp Card fundraiser in late Feb/early March.

Scout camp spots are subject to being dropped from the Council registration if payments are not received by the dates show above. If you have extenuating circumstances, please contact the Troop Treasurer to work out a plan.
CAMPERSHIPS APPLICATIONS
A Campership is type of financial assistance provided by Council where they "pay" a portion of Camp fees so your Scout can attend Summer Camp at Geronimo. A limited number of camperships are available to help Grand Canyon Council Scouts in need of financial assistance attend Geronimo. ! The Online Campership Application submission window opens December 1, 2024 !

BAG CHECK
Currently scheduled for Thursday June 19th. More details to come in April/May.
LEAVING FOR CAMP
Arrive at FUMCG on Saturday morning June 21st in Class A Uniform with full camp gear. More details to come in April/May.
ANTICIPATED RETURN
Saturday June 28th around Noon to 1 PM
